Files, Originals, Transfer, and Backup
Use only the path recorded in the parent-approved Device Workflow Profile. Interface screenshots are intentionally omitted until a named setup is validated and checked for identifiers.

Keep camera filenames unchanged in 01-originals. Rename only copies, using lowercase ASCII, hyphens, and two-digit numbers. Do not put names, schools, addresses, locations, or account details in filenames.
Copy and verify
- Parent confirms the destination and free space.
- Parent connects or authorizes the validated transfer path.
- Copy—do not move—the intended files to
01-originals. - Compare expected and transferred file counts.
- Open representative stills; play tested clips through the end with sound when applicable.
- Copy selected files into
02-selects; never experiment on the only original. - Make and verify a second local copy on a different family-controlled device or medium before any clearing.
- Restart/reopen or restore as required by the profile.
- Parent alone authorizes permanent deletion.
Lesson 1 minimum
Lesson 1 may remain on the capture device when the approved gallery/favorite method safely distinguishes the baseline, improved attempt, and selected frame. Record the visible filenames or local identifiers. Parent-supported transfer and backup may follow in a separate session; do not clear the device meanwhile.
Recovery rule
Stop the operation, protect known-good originals, record the symptom and last successful step, and ask the parent. A progress bar or visible filename does not prove that a file transferred correctly.
