Plant-feet rule
Plant both feet before framing or pressing the shutter. Stop capture before changing position. Never walk backward while looking at the screen, climb for an angle, lean over an edge, or operate the camera while doing another risky action.
Safe resting place
Use a flat, dry, stable surface away from its edge. Set the device down gently in the demonstrated orientation. Keep the lens clear and do not place the device on an unstable stack.
Immediate stop
Stop, place the device safely, and tell the parent if permission or privacy changes; the device is dropped, wet, cracked, swollen, or hot; the only known file copy may be at risk; or any person says stop.
